Ursula is a first-year PhD student working with Professor Albert-László Barabási at CCNR. She plans to work on biological networks and drug combination prediction using genetic data and protein-protein interactions. She has a master’s in Computational Biology and Quantitative Genetics from Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, where she analyzed gene regulatory networks of breast cancer subtypes with Dr. Heather Mattie. Ursula completed her B.S. in Applied Mathematics at The College of New Jersey.
