Melinda Sipos will discuss the working process and first outcomes of the project made during her Fulbright research period at the Barabasi Lab from Fall 2022 to Spring 2023. She also will introduce the related art piece that she has installed on the 11th floor.

About the speaker
Melinda Sipos is a creator working at the intersection of art, design, and technology. She holds a master's degree in glass art from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME) in Hungary and in new media design from ENSCI, Paris. Melinda is currently pursuing her doctoral studies on the subject of "data physicalization as an artistic practice" at the MOME Doctoral School in Budapest. She works on commissioned data sculptures and holds tinkering workshops for children. Currently, she is a Fulbright Visiting Researcher at the Barabasi Lab.
