About

The Scenario Modeling Hub initiative is delighted to announce its annual in-person meeting. This gathering fosters a collaborative environment where academic researchers and public health officials converge to reflect on the initiative's operation and impact. Our aim is to delve deeper into the utility and future direction of multi-model scenario projections applied to infectious diseases within the United States. This event is an essential opportunity to share insights, stimulate creative problem-solving, and shape the trajectory of epidemic modeling in our nation.

Peer Review Sessions

After an introduction to the peer review process, review groups will break off to conduct the reviews and begin filling out materials. The goal of this activity is to obtain a deeper understanding of individual models, discuss changes incorporated since last year’s review, make suggestions where relevant, and in turn improve the ensemble projections and the whole group. Teams should discuss flu models, if relevant, and any updates to their COVID-19 models since last year’s review.

This session will feature panelists from CDC, ACIP, public health departments, and hospital networks.
