David R. Dawson II

David Roberto Dawson II is a higher education professional focused on high-quality student service, and improving operational efficiency. Prior to joining the Network Science Institute, David supported undergraduate STEM students as a Senior Academic Advisor. In addition to student service, David made it a priority to support his faculty and staff colleagues by advocating for better communication, recognition, and involvement in decision-making. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education focusing on improving multi-direction communication of strategy to support operational implementation and retention of talent. David enjoys playing multiple instruments, RPGs and board games, and reading about challenging subjects.
