Gemma holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Catholic University of Bolivia and a master's degree in Quality Management of Health Services from the National Institute of Public Health of Mexico. In Bolivia, she gained experience as an administrative assistant for two USAID-funded health programs, primarily focusing on human resources, logistics, and acquisitions. Over the past ten years, Gemma has held various positions at the National Institute of Public Health of Mexico, including Project Manager, Head of the Planning Department, and Administrative Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Public Health. Gemma is excited to join the Northeastern community as Lab Operations Manager at Prof. Santillana's lab. She is enthusiastic about the opportunity to make meaningful contributions and assist in achieving the lab's goals.
