Jesseba (she/her) is a Network Science Ph.D. student working with Professor Samuel Scarpino. She has completed her Master's Degree in Neuroscience at the University of Connecticut. At UConn,  she investigated molecular markers of disinhibitory circuits in the somatosensory cortex. More recently, she was a lab manager in Mark Andermann's lab at Harvard Medical School where she developed surgical and computational techniques to record and analyze large-scale neuronal data in mouse brains.
