Kishore is a first year PhD student working with Professor Albert-László Barabási at the CCNR. He is interested in studying the funding ecosystem, which governs (and controls) much of the science that is done at research institutes and beyond. Currently, his work focuses on evaluating the success of funding and co-funding models through publications, grants, and fellowship data. Broadly, his work attempts to answer the question, can we fund science in a better way? Prior to joining the institute, he completed his B.S. in Informatics from the University of Washington.
