Megan Barrera

Megan is the Operations Coordinator at the Network Science Institute responsible for providing support to our vital operations from day-to-day planning to year-long projects. As the Operations Coordinator, Meg initiates and manages a broad range of financial activities, events, academic and office matters as well as human resource transactions to ensure that our department needs are being met in a timely and efficient manner. Meg also assists with other personnel appointments such as visiting scholars or special research appointments while working underneath project management.

Megan graduated from UMass Amherst in 2016 with a degree in hospitality business from the Isenberg Business School of Management. She received an MBA from an accelerated program with a focus on human resources in 2022 from Fitchburg State University. Megan brings several years of experience of administration and event planning in higher education, hospitality industries, and the healthcare field.
