Yixuan is a first year PhD student in CCNR working with Professor Albert-László Barabàsi. She is broadly interested in studying the science of science, social media, culture and arts topics from network and statistics perspectives. She is also interested in discovering the power of causal inferences and machine learning inside networks. She holds a BS and MS in Statistics from Southern University of Science and Technology. Prior to NetSI, she previously worked with Dr. Yifang Ma, focused on quantifying the award and collaboration networks in the movie industry.
