Daniel is a postdoctoral research associate working with Michael Johansson. Daniel uses mathematical and computational methods to study how heterogeneities across multiple biological scales affect disease transmission. He completed his Ph.D. in Ecology at the University of Georgia studying multi-host pathogen transmission and previously worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Virginia Tech studying SARS-CoV-2 transmission in wildlife host species.
