Isaac is a data justice postdoctoral fellow with the Complexity & Society Lab. He received his PhD in Sociology at the University of California, Berkeley. His research deploys a mix of qualitative and computational methods to study change in the criminal-legal system, dynamics of local governance, and the role of nonprofits in policymaking and policy delivery. At NetSI he is working to expand the data available on the scope and functioning of city-run criminal courts across the U.S.
