Martin is a Lecturer in Information Systems and a member of the BRAN Lab at the Network Science Institute at Northeastern University London, whose research focuses on conceptualising and modelling complex sociotechnical systems (e.g. the digital services economy, social networks), with expertise in AI fairness, multi-agent systems, and the societal impacts of AI. He has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam, supervised by Fernando P. Santos, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Warwick and a master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Oxford.
