Talk recording

Learning Network Science can change one’s view of the world as one discovers our connected complex world. This experience can be enhanced in the classroom through a guided network discovery process in which students take charge of their own understanding.  This talk presents such a method used at the Naval Postgraduate School for introducing students to the world of networks. This perspective of learning complex network enables the students to discover and create their own knowledge about networks, and previous experience indicate great confidence in the learned topics. The method can be modified in a variety of ways based on the desired learning outcomes of the course.
