The Network Science Institute is proud to announce that two of our PhD students have been honored with Northeastern University's Outstanding PhD Student Awards.

Clara Bay — Outstanding PhD Student Award in Research

Clara Bay has been recognized for her exceptional ability to conduct high-impact research and make meaningful contributions to the scholarly literature in her field. This award reflects the strength, purpose, and impact of her work at MOBS Lab, and the deep regard in which it is held by her peers and mentors. Her dedication to advancing knowledge is an inspiration to the entire NetSI community.

Guangyuan Weng — Outstanding PhD Student Award in Teaching

Guangyuan Weng has been honored for his commitment to education, mentorship, and the lasting contribution to every student he works with. This award recognizes students who, through teaching or teaching assistantship, have inspired and supported the learning of others, positively impacting their academic success. A PhD student in the SUNLab at NetSI, Guangyuan exemplifies what it means to be a truly exceptional teacher and mentor.
