Esteban Moro is a Professor in the Physics Department. His work lies at the intersection of big data, network science, and computational social science, with a focus on human dynamics, collective intelligence, social networks, and urban mobility in areas such as viral marketing, natural disaster management, and economic segregation in cities. Esteban leads the Social Urban Networks (SUN) group that focuses on developing computational social science tools to address urban challenges, from climate change and inequality to health and economic development.
